Official Giveaway Rules

Win Your Share of $1,000,000+ in Cash & Prizes

Effective Date: July 1, 2026

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. YOU MUST BE ACTIVELY PRESENT DURING THE LIVE EVENT WHEN A POTENTIAL WINNER IS SELECTED AND MUST RESPOND WITHIN THE ANNOUNCED TIME LIMIT. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.

1. Promotion Overview

These Official Giveaway Rules govern the Own or Be Owned live-event giveaway promoted as “Win Your Share of $1,000,000+ in Cash & Prizes” (the “Promotion”).

The Promotion is hosted and administered by Contrarian Thinking, LLC (“Host”) in connection with the Own or Be Owned live event (the “Live Event”).

Cash, products, services, memberships, experiences, software, educational programs, and other prizes may be supplied and fulfilled by independent third-party businesses, brands, individuals, partners, or service providers participating in the Promotion (each a “Prize Sponsor” and collectively, the “Prize Sponsors”).

The Host and the Prize Sponsors may each be referred to as a “Promotion Party” and collectively as the “Promotion Parties.”

By registering for, entering, attending, or otherwise participating in the Promotion, each participant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and by the Host’s decisions regarding the administration of the Promotion, which are final and binding to the fullest extent permitted by law.

2. Promotion Period

The Promotion begins on September 18th, 2026 and ends upon the conclusion of the Live Event on September 18th, 2026 (the “Promotion Period”).

All dates and times are based on Central Time unless the Host expressly states otherwise.

The Host’s systems and records will serve as the official timekeeping devices for the Promotion.

3. Eligibility

The Promotion is open only to natural persons who:

  • Are legal residents of one of the fifty United States or the District of Columbia;
  • Are at least eighteen years old and have reached the age of majority in their state of residence at the time of entry;
  • Have properly registered for the Live Event using accurate and complete information;
  • Are actively present during the Live Event when a potential winner is selected;
  • Can lawfully accept the applicable prize; and
  • Comply with these Official Rules and all instructions provided during the Live Event.

The Promotion is void in Puerto Rico, all United States territories and possessions, outside the United States, and wherever prohibited or restricted by applicable law.

Employees, officers, directors, representatives, agents, and contractors of the Host who are directly involved in administering the Promotion are not eligible to win.

Employees, officers, directors, representatives, and agents of a Prize Sponsor may not win a prize provided by that Prize Sponsor.

Immediate family members and household members of any person who is ineligible under this section are also ineligible. “Immediate family members” include spouses, domestic partners, parents, legal guardians, children, siblings, grandparents, and grandchildren, including step-relations.

Affiliates, speakers, guests, vendors, promotional partners, and contractors may be excluded from eligibility at the Host’s discretion when their involvement could create an actual or apparent conflict of interest.

The Host may determine eligibility, require verification, and disqualify any person who does not satisfy these requirements.

4. No Purchase Necessary

No purchase, payment, donation, contribution, subscription, or other financial consideration is necessary to enter or win.

Purchasing a book, VIP ticket, event upgrade, membership, product, service, or any other item will not increase a participant’s odds of winning.

Free and paid registrants will receive the same opportunity to participate in any prize drawing unless a separate promotion is clearly identified and governed by separate official rules.

5. How to Enter

During the Promotion Period, an eligible individual may enter by completing the official Live Event registration process through the registration page or promotion platform designated by the Host.

Registration may require the participant to provide information including, without limitation:

  • Full legal name;
  • Valid email address;
  • Valid mobile telephone number;
  • State of legal residence;
  • Age or confirmation of age eligibility; and
  • Any other information reasonably required to administer the Promotion.

Unless expressly announced otherwise, there is a limit of one entry per eligible individual, regardless of the number of email addresses, telephone numbers, devices, registrations, purchases, referrals, or accounts used.

Multiple registrations do not create additional entries or improve a participant’s odds of winning.

Entries generated by script, macro, bot, artificial intelligence agent, automated process, bulk-registration service, or any other method designed to circumvent the intended entry process are prohibited and may be disqualified.

The Host is not responsible for entries that are incomplete, inaccurate, corrupted, misdirected, delayed, lost, duplicated, illegible, fraudulent, or not received for any reason.

6. Live Attendance Requirement

A participant must be actively present in the official Live Event broadcast when selected as a potential winner.

Registration alone does not satisfy the live-attendance requirement.

The Host may use reasonable methods to confirm live attendance, including requiring the selected participant to:

  • Respond in the official event chat;
  • Click or complete an on-screen claim link;
  • Submit a confirmation form;
  • Provide a verification code;
  • Respond by email or text message;
  • Join an event room or video call; or
  • Complete another verification step announced during the Live Event.

A selected participant must respond within the exact time period announced during the Live Event. Unless a different period is announced, the response period will be DETERMINED BY HOST from the time the participant’s name or identifying information is announced.

A participant who is absent, disconnected, unresponsive, delayed, unable to access the required claim method, or otherwise fails to respond within the announced period will forfeit the opportunity to receive the prize.

The Host may, but is not required to, select an alternate potential winner.

Participants are solely responsible for maintaining a working device, internet connection, electricity, audio access, event-platform access, and accurate contact information throughout the Live Event.

7. Potential Winner Selection

Potential winners will be selected during the Live Event from among eligible entrants using a random-selection process administered through the Host’s designated promotion platform, software, or other selection system.

The Host may divide eligible entrants into drawing pools based on the timing or segment of the Live Event, provided that any such method is disclosed to participants before the applicable selection.

Being announced or contacted as a potential winner does not make that person a confirmed winner.

Each potential winner remains subject to eligibility verification, compliance review, completion of required documents, and final confirmation by the Host.

The Host’s decisions concerning the operation of the Promotion, interpretation of these Official Rules, eligibility, attendance, response timing, selection results, disqualification, and prize administration are final and binding to the fullest extent permitted by law.

8. Odds of Winning

The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entrants who are actively present during the applicable drawing, the number of prizes available, and the number of eligible drawing opportunities conducted.

The Host cannot predict or guarantee any participant’s odds of winning.

Participation does not guarantee that a participant will be selected or receive any prize.

9. Advertised Prize Pool

The phrase “Win Your Share of $1,000,000+ in Cash & Prizes” refers to the anticipated combined approximate retail value of all cash and non-cash prizes intended to be made available in connection with the Promotion.

It does not mean that:

  • Any one participant will receive $1,000,000;
  • Any one participant will receive a prize valued near $1,000,000;
  • Every participant will receive a prize;
  • Every prize will consist of cash;
  • Any non-cash prize may be redeemed for its stated value in cash;
  • Each advertised Prize Sponsor will ultimately participate; or
  • Every anticipated prize will remain available in its originally described form.

The advertised prize pool may include the good-faith approximate retail value of products, services, software, memberships, consulting, coaching, access, experiences, tickets, travel-related benefits, educational programs, digital products, promotional packages, and other items supplied by the Prize Sponsors.

Approximate retail values may be based on information supplied by the applicable Prize Sponsor, published retail pricing, standard service rates, package pricing, or other reasonable valuation methods.

The actual value received by a winner may differ based on market conditions, location, use, availability, timing, personal circumstances, or the winner’s ability to use the prize.

A winner is not entitled to receive the difference between a stated approximate retail value and the prize’s actual value.

10. Types of Prizes

Prizes may include, without limitation:

  • Cash awards;
  • Physical products or merchandise;
  • Business products or services;
  • Consulting or coaching services;
  • Software licenses or subscriptions;
  • Memberships or communities;
  • Educational programs, courses, or training;
  • Digital products or resources;
  • Event tickets or event access;
  • Travel-related awards or experiences;
  • Gift cards or promotional credits;
  • Marketing, technology, legal, financial, operational, or professional services;
  • Introductions, meetings, dinners, or private experiences;
  • Advertising or promotional packages; and
  • Other cash or non-cash items announced during the Live Event.

The exact number, description, value, provider, restrictions, and availability of prizes will be announced or displayed before or during the Live Event.

Additional terms, eligibility requirements, geographic restrictions, age requirements, scheduling limitations, redemption deadlines, contracts, releases, or usage conditions may apply to individual prizes.

11. Prize Sponsors and Third-Party Prizes

Many prizes are independently supplied, sponsored, donated, administered, scheduled, shipped, delivered, licensed, or fulfilled by third-party Prize Sponsors.

Unless a prize is expressly identified as being provided directly by the Host, the applicable Prize Sponsor is responsible for the prize’s fulfillment and any warranties, support, scheduling, delivery, availability, and prize-specific obligations.

The Host does not manufacture, design, control, operate, insure, guarantee, or provide warranties for third-party products or services.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Host is not responsible for a Prize Sponsor’s:

  • Acts or omissions;
  • Failure or refusal to fulfill a prize;
  • Delays in fulfillment, shipping, scheduling, activation, or delivery;
  • Changes to a product or service;
  • Product defects or recalls;
  • Service quality or customer support;
  • Business closure, insolvency, or discontinuation;
  • Terms, conditions, restrictions, or policies;
  • Representations or warranties;
  • Cancellation or unavailability;
  • Privacy or data-security practices; or
  • Any injury, loss, expense, or damage connected to a third-party prize.

Nothing in these Official Rules eliminates any responsibility that cannot legally be waived or transferred.

Acceptance and use of a third-party prize are subject to any additional terms, agreements, eligibility conditions, waivers, releases, schedules, availability limitations, and policies imposed by the applicable Prize Sponsor.

A winner may be required to communicate directly with the Prize Sponsor to arrange fulfillment.

12. Prize Availability and Substitution

All prizes are subject to availability and any restrictions imposed by the applicable Prize Sponsor.

Except where prohibited by law, the Host or applicable Prize Sponsor may substitute a prize with another prize of equal or greater approximate retail value if the originally identified prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond reasonable control.

The Host may correct an obvious clerical, typographical, technical, valuation, or descriptive error concerning a prize, provided that the correction does not improperly reduce a confirmed winner’s legal rights.

No cash alternative will be provided for a non-cash prize unless expressly offered by the Host or applicable Prize Sponsor.

Prizes may not be transferred, assigned, sold, auctioned, or exchanged before fulfillment without the prior written approval of the Host and applicable Prize Sponsor.

A Prize Sponsor may require a winner to redeem or use a prize by a specified deadline. Failure to meet that deadline may result in forfeiture without replacement.

13. Winner Verification

Before being confirmed as a winner or receiving a prize, a potential winner may be required to provide or complete:

  • Government-issued photo identification;
  • Proof of age and legal residence;
  • A valid mailing address;
  • A valid taxpayer identification number;
  • An affidavit or declaration of eligibility;
  • A liability and publicity release;
  • An IRS Form W-9 or other tax document;
  • A prize-acceptance agreement;
  • Prize Sponsor agreements or waivers; and
  • Any other documentation reasonably necessary to verify eligibility or fulfill the prize.

Unless another period is stated, all requested documents must be completed and returned within 5 calendar days after the Host sends them.

A potential winner may be disqualified and the prize forfeited if the person:

  • Does not respond within the announced live-response period;
  • Cannot be contacted using the information provided;
  • Provides false, incomplete, conflicting, or unverifiable information;
  • Fails to return required documents by the stated deadline;
  • Does not satisfy the eligibility requirements;
  • Refuses to accept the prize under the applicable conditions;
  • Cannot lawfully accept or use the prize;
  • Violates these Official Rules; or
  • Is otherwise determined to be ineligible.

The Host may select an alternate potential winner when practical, but is not required to continue selecting alternates indefinitely.

14. Prize Delivery and Fulfillment

Prize fulfillment timing will vary depending on the prize and Prize Sponsor.

Cash prizes may be issued by check, electronic transfer, payment platform, or another method selected by the Host or Prize Sponsor.

Physical prizes will be delivered only to an eligible address within the fifty United States or the District of Columbia unless otherwise stated.

Winners are responsible for providing accurate fulfillment information and promptly notifying the fulfilling party of any changes.

The Host and Prize Sponsors are not responsible for prizes that are delayed, misdirected, returned, undeliverable, lost, stolen, or damaged because of inaccurate information supplied by a winner, carrier error, events beyond reasonable control, or the winner’s failure to accept delivery.

The Host does not guarantee any particular fulfillment date unless expressly agreed in a separate written document signed by an authorized representative.

15. Travel and Experience Prizes

A travel, event, dinner, meeting, or experience prize may be subject to additional dates, geographic limitations, background checks, guest restrictions, conduct rules, waivers, releases, identification requirements, and availability restrictions.

Unless expressly included in the written prize description, a winner is responsible for all transportation, lodging, meals, gratuities, insurance, documentation, incidental expenses, and other costs associated with participating in an experience.

Dates, participants, speakers, locations, and schedules may change because of availability, safety, illness, weather, travel disruptions, business needs, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.

If an experience is canceled or cannot be completed, any available substitute or remedy will be determined in accordance with applicable law and the terms communicated for that specific prize.

16. Taxes and Expenses

Each winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, local, and other taxes, fees, expenses, and reporting obligations arising from the acceptance, receipt, value, possession, or use of a prize.

The Host or applicable Prize Sponsor may require a winner to provide a completed IRS Form W-9 and may issue an IRS Form 1099 or other tax document when required by law.

The value reported for tax purposes may be based on the prize’s fair market value at the time it is awarded or fulfilled.

Winners should consult their own tax and legal advisers. The Host and Prize Sponsors do not provide tax or legal advice.

Unless expressly included in the prize description, all expenses not specifically identified as part of a prize are the winner’s sole responsibility.

17. Publicity Release

Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes the winner’s permission for the Host and applicable Prize Sponsors to use the winner’s name, city and state of residence, likeness, image, photograph, voice, statements, testimonial, biographical information, prize information, and recorded participation for advertising, publicity, promotional, and administrative purposes in any media worldwide, without additional notice, approval, or compensation.

A winner may be asked to sign a separate publicity release to the extent permitted by law.

18. Conduct and Disqualification

The Host may disqualify any participant whom it reasonably believes has:

  • Violated these Official Rules;
  • Submitted false, misleading, incomplete, or fraudulent information;
  • Used multiple identities, accounts, devices, email addresses, or telephone numbers to obtain additional entries;
  • Used automated, deceptive, or manipulative entry methods;
  • Tampered with the registration, attendance, selection, or claim process;
  • Attempted to interfere with the Promotion, Live Event, platform, Host, Prize Sponsor, or another participant;
  • Engaged in harassment, threats, abuse, fraud, misconduct, or disruptive behavior;
  • Attempted to sell, transfer, or improperly obtain an entry or prize;
  • Violated applicable law; or
  • Acted in a manner that undermines the fairness, security, integrity, or legitimate operation of the Promotion.

The Host reserves all rights and remedies available under applicable law.

19. Technical Issues

The Promotion depends on internet services, telecommunications networks, livestream technology, registration systems, email and text delivery, promotion platforms, payment and verification providers, and other third-party systems.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promotion Parties are not responsible for:

  • Internet, power, hardware, software, browser, device, server, platform, or network failures;
  • Livestream interruptions, delays, buffering, outages, or disconnections;
  • Chat failures or delayed messages;
  • Blocked, filtered, delayed, or undelivered email or text messages;
  • Incorrect, incomplete, lost, corrupted, or delayed data;
  • Unauthorized human intervention;
  • Malware, viruses, or harmful code;
  • Errors in registration, attendance tracking, selection, notification, or fulfillment systems;
  • Device incompatibility;
  • Participant error; or
  • Other technical problems beyond reasonable control.

If a technical issue affects a drawing, the Host may pause the Promotion, repeat the affected selection, use an alternate reasonable selection method, or take another corrective action consistent with applicable law and the integrity of the Promotion.

20. Modification, Suspension, or Cancellation

Subject to applicable law and any required regulatory approval, the Host may suspend, modify, postpone, or cancel the Promotion if fraud, technical failure, unauthorized intervention, security concerns, legal requirements, government action, natural disaster, public-health emergency, labor disruption, platform failure, force majeure, or another circumstance beyond reasonable control materially affects the fairness, security, integrity, feasibility, or proper operation of the Promotion.

The Host will not modify the Promotion merely to avoid awarding a properly won and legally required prize.

If the Promotion is terminated early, the Host may select potential winners from eligible entries received before termination or use another fair method permitted by law.

21. Release of Claims

To the fullest extent permitted by law, each participant agrees to release and hold harmless Contrarian Thinking, LLC, Codie Sanchez, the Prize Sponsors, the promotion platform, and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, owners, members, officers, directors, employees, contractors, representatives, agents, successors, and assigns from claims, liabilities, losses, damages, injuries, costs, and expenses arising out of or relating to:

  • Participation or attempted participation in the Promotion;
  • Attendance at or inability to attend the Live Event;
  • Selection or non-selection as a potential winner;
  • Acceptance, receipt, possession, use, misuse, loss, or inability to use a prize;
  • Prize fulfillment or attempted fulfillment;
  • A third-party product, service, experience, or Prize Sponsor;
  • Travel or participation in an event or experience;
  • Personal injury, death, property damage, loss of privacy, publicity claims, or economic loss;
  • Technical, platform, communication, or administrative errors; or
  • Any other matter connected to the Promotion.

This release does not apply to claims or liabilities that cannot legally be waived, including liability resulting from conduct for which exclusion is prohibited by applicable law.

22. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promotion, Live Event, promotion platform, and all prizes are provided “as is” and “as available,” without representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied.

The Promotion Parties disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, quality, availability, and suitability, except where such disclaimers are prohibited by law.

Neither Codie Sanchez nor the Host guarantees that any prize, product, service, strategy, software, program, coaching, consulting, or experience will produce a particular business, financial, professional, personal, or other result.

23. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promotion Parties will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or multiplied damages arising out of or relating to the Promotion or any prize, even if advised that such damages may occur.

Where applicable law does not permit a complete limitation of liability, liability will be limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

Nothing in these Official Rules limits liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

24. Privacy

Information collected in connection with the Promotion may be used to:

  • Administer the Promotion;
  • Operate the Live Event;
  • Verify identity, attendance, and eligibility;
  • Select and contact potential winners;
  • Fulfill prizes;
  • Prevent fraud or misuse;
  • Satisfy legal, regulatory, accounting, and tax obligations; and
  • Provide communications in accordance with the participant’s consent and applicable law.

Information may be shared with Prize Sponsors, service providers, promotion platforms, professional advisers, government authorities, and other parties as reasonably necessary to administer the Promotion, fulfill prizes, or comply with law.

Personal information will otherwise be handled in accordance with the Host’s Privacy Policy.

25. No Endorsement

The inclusion of a Prize Sponsor or third-party product or service does not necessarily constitute an endorsement, guarantee, partnership, joint venture, agency relationship, or recommendation by the Host or Codie Sanchez.

The Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with any social-media platform, livestream platform, email provider, telecommunications provider, or technology company unless expressly stated otherwise.

26. Governing Law

These Official Rules and the Promotion are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where another jurisdiction’s laws must apply and cannot legally be waived.

27. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

Except for matters that may be brought in small-claims court or claims seeking emergency injunctive relief, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the Promotion, these Official Rules, or a prize shall be resolved through final and binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its applicable consumer arbitration rules.

The arbitration will take place in Austin, Texas, unless the parties agree to another location or applicable law requires otherwise.

The arbitrator may award any individual remedy available under applicable law but may not combine the claims of multiple persons.

Each party will be responsible for its own attorneys’ fees and costs unless applicable law or the arbitrator permits otherwise.

28. Class Action Waiver

To the fullest extent permitted by law, each participant agrees that any claim will be brought only in that participant’s individual capacity and not as a plaintiff, claimant, representative, or class member in any purported class, collective, consolidated, coordinated, mass, or representative proceeding.

If this class-action waiver is found unenforceable with respect to a particular claim, that claim must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction and not in arbitration.

29. Severability

If any provision of these Official Rules is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted or severed, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

30. No Waiver

The Host’s failure to enforce any provision of these Official Rules does not waive that provision or the right to enforce it later.

31. Winners List

Where required by law, a winners list may be obtained by sending a written request to:

Contrarian Thinking, LLC
Attn: Own or Be Owned Giveaway

Requests must be received within ninety days after the Promotion ends and must include the requester’s name, address, and the name of the Promotion.

The Host may publish a winners list or winner announcements consistent with applicable law and the publicity provisions of these Official Rules.

32. Host and Contact Information

Host:

Questions regarding these Official Rules may be sent to support@contrarianthink.com.

33. Acceptance of Official Rules

By entering, registering for, attending, or participating in the Promotion, each participant confirms that the participant has read, understood, and agreed to these Official Rules.
